The AFC in the Paradiso – Promotion-concert Amsterdam

After a four-days sightseeingtour through Amsterdam the time had come. It was November 2nd and we could sprock again with our Underground Soldiers Carmen and Jeany. At about 9:30 we stopped by at the Paradiso to check the situation. There have already been some Italians and Dutchies. But we thought that it would be a little too early and so we decided to feed our bellies because we were very hungry. So we looked for a restaurant or something like that but we didn’t find one – we turned back to the favourite pub where we’ve been the nights before. At 10:30 we arrived at the Paradiso. The weather wasn’t good and in contrast to the last days it was very cool and windy.

The steps to the entrance were very wet and dirty, so we went away again to search for something that could protect our pretty butts. I had THE idea! We asked in carpet stores for oddments and at the third store we got a “red carpet”.

With a loud laughter we were received by Carmen and Jeany. In contrast to the others we hadn’t got a cold butt, because it became a loooong day. Roman was on the way with the train since the small hours and Sabrina, our Kronehit-winner, flew to Amsterdam with her Mum. The band arrived at about 2pm. All people jumped up and ran to them. After a while we went to them too – for consigning our fanclub - DVD. Brandon pounced on the DVD and thanked with a hug. Also Cindy got one and Yogi thanked with three kisses. Left, right, left… Ohlala *g* We gave Brandon the DVD for Blue and then he introduced us to the new ones in the band. DeeDee, JJ, Toni and Chris haven’t been there. We could see that Brandon was groovy and he was really happy to see us again.

At 2:30pm the locks were built up and our nerviness increased, because we hadn’t got our tickets. We knew that they were deposed at the till. It’s a qualm if you haven’t got your tickets in your hand, but the others had the same problem. We had to stand in a row and one after another we went to the till where we got our tapes. That took a load off our minds. At this point I wanna thank Cathrin from Sony-Austria. They were booked for us and we even got a little present. We looked into the bags and were very surprised. In it were two cd’s. "The Remixes" of POAD and the single from "The Alpine" ("A Cut"). There was also a little promo poster of POAD, a signed picture and a pass for to hang on. This bag was awesome!! Anastacia’s little cute fingers must have burned because all pictures were signed original. It was just WOW! You can probably imagine the clamor.

Everyone who got the ticket had to move back into the rock. All went off very well-organized. RESPECT! Would be great if it would be as good as there at every concert.

In the afternoon also Iris and Meike arrived. Roman who had to drove ten hours, rolled along around 5.30 p.m and Sabrina and her mum were welcomed around 7.15 p.m. .
They were driven directly from the hotel to Paradiso by bus. The long craved admission was around 7.30 p.m.. We’ve never had such a short and comfortable way up to the stage.
A couple of Dutch celebrities who were enthused welcomed by the Dutch-Fanclub were at the ranks above. "The Alpine" played before Ana arrived and I was really positiv surprised.
They are really good! I’m agog about the album. You saw it from the audience, it was an awesome atmosphere. But actually we were there because of Ana and she appeared punctual at 9 p.m . WOW…just WOW!!
She looked staggering. Green pants which were laced in the front and sideways, a white shirt with silver stripes in the front and a bright jacket which made stress when Ana would get out of it because she didn’t bring it over the clock. But like always Ana took it with humor.
She came with open hairs this time and she looked so beautiful. We felt that she was well recovered from the exertion of the last Tour and she jumped off with "Not that kind".
No idea how many Teddys and letters flew up to the stage but she thanked for every of it and said that’s like Christmas-Day today although it wasn’t. We had a present, too and I took the chance to give her the present which she called for at "welcome to my truth". Which was the Fanclub-DVD, Sabbis letter and a personal present. I have the Ankh-pendant which I bought on tour poured in silver made by a goldsmith.

Back to the concert. The stage was about a meter away and Ana could bend down to her fans. She was so close to us and let Ronald from Holland sing the song "One Day In Your Life" with her. It just went off very casual.

Only Cindy and Brandon were there for the background singers. No dancers and no videowalls. It was like a "lounge-quality" – very cozy and without crowd.

We actually were allowed to listen to "In your Eyes". It was the first time that Anastacia performed it live. She said that this song would be for her fans. I can tell you – this song is amazing!!!!

As usual the concert went off TOO FAST! While we talked to Markus, Olaf and Christian outside, we met Cindy, Brandon and Yogi again. And finally Jeany got her photo with Yogi. Cindy thanked us in a very cute way that we’ve been there.

After that we drove back to our hotel and watched the videos that we made. At about 1:00 we went to bed because we had to drive home the next morning.

It was amazing and I’m sorry that there couldn’t be more of us. Believe me, we tried out all things! Not only me, also other members were in contact with me and tried to pull strings. But it wasn’t easy for this concert. I hope that it will be different if there’s something like that again!

"We were in the Paradis(o)"
As most of you probably realized, some of us were there too. Sabrina won the tickets at Kronehit and I went there on the off-chance, too. Thank God, that we got tickets from Sony last-minute - thanks to Cathrin from Sony Austria. You can read the whole report in the diary as usual.

In cooperation with s.Oliver she'll introduce these shirts onto the market. 100% of the proceeds will go to the casualties of the earthquake in Pakistan. I finally made it - the pictures of the promotion concert are online. Unfortunately the quality of most of them isn't so good, they are very fogged. Also Anastacia criticized that, she said that it would be great for the effects but she couldn't see her fans.

More about the announced surprise!
I have tantalized you long enough, so now the information about the surprise. At the 11th of November Anastacia will get a five-platinum award in the course of a fan-event in Hamburg.
And now the surprise: we take part, among about 100 selected guests. We got a few tickets for this unique event from Sony Germany. So I wanna send a huge THANK YOU to Ilona! In course of this event there will also be a signing-session! This evening I will raffle the tickets and I will also take care of the journey of the Austrian members. So every Austrian member who wants to take part should have Friday and Saturday off, and be able to arrive at my place on Thursday! We will surely have to take the 900km long journey very early!

Of course, only fanclub members are allowed to take part!
So just keep at it from 7:30 pm!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fan-Event in Hamburg

On Friday, 11.11.2005, Anastacia got a 5-Platinum Award for her Album of the same name. And also the greatest Hits collection "Pieces of a dream" already got a platinum Award after only one week!!!

Due to Sony the fanclub got 14 tickets for this mega-event, which have been raffled among the members. Once again I wanna say a huge THANK YOU to Ilona! On Friday, 11.11.2005 at 3:30 a.m we (Martina, Maria, Susanne, Babs, Gerhard, Roman, Dagmar and I) set out for Hamburg! As we arrived in Hamburg at about 2:00 pm, after a long but anyway very nice train ride, we met the German ticket-winners. All together we set out for our hotel. Tatjana booked a really nice hotel! Not very luxurious, but only 5 minutes away from the train station and also from the venue! So also a huge thank you to Tatjana!
I guess we never had such a short way to an Anastacia - performance before. After we moved into our rooms, we all were sitting together waiting curiously for the evening.

At 5:00 p.m we walked unhurried to the "scene of events", the club "GOLDEN CUT". There we also met our soldiers, who also got tickets. All together we waited in front of the club for the entrance. It was really nice to see all the faces we used to see at all the other Anastacia concerts! At 6:00 pm we were allowed to go in. We were very amazed about the small scale in which this event should happen. It was a very comfortable atmosphere! In a small part of the room there were a table with drinks and some candles on it, a microphone rack and a stool already waiting for Anastacia. And there we were in our red shirts! We really were a part of only 80 invited guests! Just before we could realize that, the German actor Marek Erhardt (which presented the event) and some camera teams and reporter came in to explain the run of the evening. We have been interviewed, and everyone was surprised when they heard from where we were. And at 7:45 pm the time had come. Ana arrived with 45 minutes delay. In front of the club’s gates she patiently spent time on the photographers and the fans who got no tickets. But then it meant: "The goddess enters the room!" And there she was – closer than ever!!

She looked so gorgeous in her sand-coloured two-piece. After greeting the fans, we were allowed to ask her some questions. The presenter greeted us extra-nice cause he brimmed over with enthusiasm for us (in the course of the evening he came to us a several times and praised us to the skies). I raised my arm in impulse, and before I knew what I should ask, the presenter gave me the mic! Trembling with excitement I asked her about the video to "I belong to you"! And so the first question was ours! One of the guests couldn’t deny himself the question about Prince Albert. But Anastacia answered very cool: "Oh darling, he is the prince, I performed a few songs at his ball, and at the end of the evening I got paid – that’s it!" Afterwards she presented the video to the 12 minute megamix. After that we have been organized into groups and after a while she and Wayne came to us! God, she was so cute!! Took our presents, joked with us and patiently signed everything we gave to her. A Lady said we were only allowed to give her one piece to sign, but Wayne said: "Oh, that’s special!" So everyone got a dedication, an autograph on his shirt and other things we wanted her to sign. Then they took a group shot. After the shot she also signed the fanclub banner with the words: "To all my fans, your love is amazing! I keep you in my heart 4-ever!"
She really didn’t stop writing, that was awesome! Then she went to the next table to give autographs. And we thought – that was it!

But it should get much better! We went to Shawn and had a little chat with her. We talked about our tattoos, and Shawn went to Anastacia and asked her to make a tattoo shot with us! And really – the "tattoo-owners" were brought to Anastacia into the VIP space!!! Ana chucked herself with us on the sofa. After that we had a chat with Shawn, Ana and Wayne for a few minutes. Then I said that we may not forget the most important man of the evening and asked Wayne to sign my shirt! Shawn said grinning: "If you wouldn’t be black you would now be red!" and also Anastacia supported us and said: "Come on, for the girls". And so we also had his name on our shirts!! Babs told them about the missing box in which also her tambourine was. Shawn and Ana could remember that, and said that every piece has already been signed. They said that they are not able to give account of this! But Shawn promised that Babs would get her tambourine back. And if she couldn’t find it, she would get something that is more special!!

Then it was time for the platinum-Award! Ana was visibly impressed and affected and she only said: "Holy Moses!".

But then she had to leave very fast to get her plane to London! On our way out we got a little "goodie bag" (so Ana said) with a s.Oliver t-shirt, a promo-cd from "Pieces of a Dream" and a few other little things in it! We, the soldiers and some fans from the de-Forum went for a drink together to review the events of this unique evening. This evening was really one-of-a-kind and it will surely take some time to realize what we have been able to undergo!

Hi out there, I made it, the diary of the Fan-Event is online. i hope our photos will be there soon, I will get them from the official photographer because it was not allowed to take photos in the location, but that was ok for everyone of us I think. Maybe there will be a few surprises of this Event here for the members in the next time, so keep your eyes open.

The Fan-Event was really unique and for sure we will never forget. You can see here that Anastacia has given a message to all of you who could not be a part of it. She signed our Fanclub-Banner!!! A bigger picture you can see if you click on it! I hope that all winners will send their impressions in a little e-mail to me, so I can put it online.


Also we got news from Ana at this Fan-Event, "In your eyes" will be the next single. On the Live-DVD which is coming out in march 2006 will also be parts of the Encore-Tour. Anastacia was also squired by a cam at her free days and backstage, that will also be on the DVD.
The Perfume is ready, now the laws are going to check the judicial matter about the name. Anastacia had her perfume on and I can tell you it smells dreamlike.
Thanks giving and christmas she will spend with her family and relax there.

New Voicemessage online!!!
There is a new message on anastaciafanclub.com. The promotion for the Greatest Hits Album is absolutely amazing for her, she is in London, then she will go to Spain, after that Anastacia will do the video with Eros Ramazzotti in Italy.
About the Fan-Event which was on Friday in Hamburg she tells us, that it was really awesome to hang with her fans and giving autographs and show the Megamix-Video.
She loves us and says thanks for appreciating the new album and that we are her friends and family for such a long time.

Anastacia at "Wetten dass…" in Salzburg!!!
In the "Salzburg – Krone" from today is written that Anastacia will be present at "“Wetten dass…" together with Eros Ramazzotti at the 28th of January 2006. It will take place at the Salzburg Arena.

Small concerts from Anastacia and Eros?
Eros Ramazzotti wants to give some small concerts in Europe yet this year. Are these the "little things" Ana was talking about in an Interview?
